Affiliate programs for subscription apps
no cut of your revenue, ever

Turn creators into your growth team. Keep every dollar.

Give every creator their own link and App Store offer code. Sauce follows the follower through the install, pays only when a real subscription payment goes through, and sends payouts to PayPal or Venmo on its own.

The problem

Creator marketing works. Paying for it shouldn't hurt.

%

Affiliate tools take a cut of every sale

Most affiliate platforms for apps charge a monthly fee and then keep a share of the revenue their links bring in. Your best creators end up costing you the most.

?

The App Store breaks the trail

A follower taps a link, lands in the App Store, installs, and the referral is gone. Without a way to carry it through, nobody knows who sent them.

$

Paying creators is a part-time job

Tracking who earned what, waiting out refunds, collecting tax forms, and sending dozens of small payments by hand every month.

How it works

From a creator's post to a paid subscriber, tracked end to end.

1

Creators join your program

They sign up in a few minutes and get a personal link and code, ready to drop in a bio, a caption, or a video.

2

Followers arrive three ways

Sauce catches the referral however it comes in:

Offer code redeemed in the App Store, with a perk for the follower
Smart link that carries through the install
"Who sent you?" code box in your onboarding
3

Only real money counts

A commission is earned when an actual subscription payment goes through, not a free trial. It then waits out the refund window before it's ready to pay.

4

Payouts run themselves

When a creator's balance passes $25, Sauce sends it to their PayPal or Venmo on a set schedule. No spreadsheets, no reminders.

Everything included

Built for subscription apps, not web shops.

🎟

A code for every creator

Each creator gets their own App Store offer code. Apple records the redemption, so the credit is never in doubt.

🔌

Plugs into your billing

Connects to RevenueCat, Apple's App Store notifications, or Stripe. Sauce hears about every payment, renewal, and refund.

💵

Commission rules you set

A flat amount per paying subscriber, your refund hold, your payout minimum. Change them per program.

🛡

Refund-proof

Trials, refunds, and chargebacks never turn into payouts. If a refund lands late, it comes off the next balance.

📊

A dashboard creators love

Clicks, sign-ups, paid subscribers, and earnings, live. Creators see exactly what each post did.

🧾

Tax forms handled

Creators submit a W-9 before their first payout, and Sauce flags anyone who crosses the 1099 reporting line.

🔒

Privacy first

No device fingerprinting. Referrals come from codes, links, and what people tell you, nothing hidden.

📱

Many apps, one portal

Run programs for several apps from one account. Creators can promote any of them with one login.

Questions

Good questions.

How does Sauce know who referred a subscriber if they install from the App Store?

Three ways, in order of reliability: an App Store offer code the follower redeems (Apple records it), a smart link that carries the referral through the install, and a "Who sent you?" code box in your app's onboarding as a backstop.

Do free trials count?

No. A commission is only earned once a real payment goes through. If someone starts a trial and then pays, it counts from the first payment.

What happens if a subscriber gets a refund?

Every commission waits in a refund hold before it can be paid out. If a refund comes in during the hold, the commission is cancelled. If one arrives later, it's subtracted from the creator's next balance.

When and how do creators get paid?

Automatically on a regular schedule, once their ready balance reaches $25. Payouts go to a PayPal email or a US Venmo account.

Do you track people across apps or fingerprint devices?

No. Sauce relies on codes, links, and what people choose to tell you. No hidden device fingerprinting.

What about taxes?

Creators fill out a W-9 inside Sauce before their first payout, and you get a list of anyone whose yearly earnings cross the 1099 reporting threshold.

Does it work for web subscriptions too?

Yes. Sauce connects to Stripe for web checkouts as well as RevenueCat and the App Store for iPhone subscriptions.
